Music from 'The Changes', a 1975 BBC series for 'older children' about the aftermath of a technological breakdown. I didn't watch it at the time, as I was far too busy making machine gun noises in the woods.
I watched The Changes for the first time last week thanks to YouTube. Happy to report it was reassuringly strange stuff. Also worth looking out for a clip of Stewart Lee on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe comparing the show with Skins.
Got the show lined up to see for the first time since it disturbed me as a nipper. I don't think I could stand to watch both messrs Lee AND Brooker together though.
