'The Time Monster' is not the greatest Pertwee adventure by any means, but it has enough odd little points of interest to keep the viewers attention, and also introduces the concept of Tansmission Of Matter Through Interstitial Time, or TOMTIT.
Written by playwright Robert Sloman (who had already written 'The Daemons' and 'Day of The Daleks', and would go on to write 'The Green Death' and 'Planet of The Spiders'), the script is literate (although occasionally somewhat florid) and ambitious, cutting between modern day (well, 1972) Britain and ancient Atlantis, as well as an interlude in the space between time, which all gets a bit trippy.
